Here's a beauty tip I learned from Antonio, my stylist at Eva Scrivo Salon. If you have super dark hair, but pale skin, sometimes you can see too much of the scalp through your hair, especially when hair is in an updo. Antonio camouflages this with Bumble and Bumble hair powder. A few shots of the dark spray on all the "bald spots" and you won't see the scalp anymore.
